Whether we're restoring a beloved cultural monument or building something entirely new, our clients know they can count on us to be there during every phase, from beginning to end.

Hancock County Courthouse

Our extensive experience with historic preservation has earned our firm numerous awards. As a result, we were selected to oversee the restoration of "Her Majesty," the Historic 1881 Hancock County Courthouse in Sparta, Georgia. Designed by the Atlanta-based firm Parkins and Bruce, this building is a nationally significant structure and considered to be one of Mr. Bruce's finest works.

We're dedicated to providing services tailored to each client's individual needs. So, additionally, our approach to new construction projects enables us to take on many different kinds of projects across a number of sectors. To date, we have successfully completed many SPLOST-funded new facilities.

Ben Carter  & Joe Watkins

Ben Carter brings extensive architecture and engineering experience to Carter Watkins Associates Architects, Inc. Since 1982, his practice has remained essential to the success of the firm. Ben has worked on projects throughout the Southeast and has been responsible for all aspects of construction.

Joe Watkins began his architectural career, in 1985, in Atlanta at one of the largest architectural firms in the area. He has worked on many different projects, ranging from health care centers to educational facilities. Joe's code compliance and office management skills complement Ben's experience.

Together with our hardworking interns, AutoCAD draftspersons, specifications specialist, administrator, and reception staff, Ben and Joe work hard to bring clients' visions to life.
